
Janzen and Govereau v. Platy Enterprises Ltd. (1989)

Diana Janzen and Tracey Govereau were sexually harassed at the Winnipeg restaurant where they worked. They took their case all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada and won a ruling that sexual harassment is sex discrimination. LEAF presented equality arguments to the Court in their case.
This was a landmark decision, which provides a strong precedent for protection of human rights.
