LEAF Edmonton invites you to our annual Persons Day Breakfast on October 28, 2019 at the Westin Edmonton.
Our keynote speaker this year is Dr. Karin Humphries, who is Scientific Director at the BC Centre for Improved Cardiovascular Health, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia, and UBC-Heart and Stroke Foundation Professor in Women’s Cardiovascular Health. She has a doctoral degree in epidemiology and a background in biochemistry, kinesiology, and experimental pathology. Her primary research focus is on sex and gender differences in the diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes in subjects with coronary artery disease.
Please join us for this annual celebration of Persons Day. LEAF Edmonton has held a breakfast every year since 1985, the year LEAF incorporated and section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms came into force. Your support of this event allows the organization to continue its important mission nationally and at the local level. Please click here to purchase a table or individual ticket.
