In 2022, after several years without a chapter, LEAF Winnipeg came back to life with renewed appetite and ambition.
Our objective is to advance equality rights for women and non-binary people both through the law and by establishing links with other feminist organizations in Winnipeg. We are excited to host events that build community, raise awareness of important substantive equality issues, and get involved in critical feminist cases in both Manitoba and Canada.
LEAF Winnipeg is currently co-chaired by Paula Ethans and Dayna Steinfeld. Other members of the executive include: Alanna Johnson as Communications co-ordinator, Rebecca Szymkow as Treasurer, and Allison Kilgour as Administrative co-ordinator.
