This publication was created as part of LEAF’s Feminist Strategic Litigation (FSL) Project. The FSL Project examines the use and impact of feminist strategic litigation to help LEAF, feminists, and gender equality advocates more effectively combat systemic discrimination and oppression.
This impact case study looks at LEAF’s work helping to bring abortion access to Prince Edward Island. It analyzes the impact of the advocacy carried out by grassroots movements, and the litigation facilitated by LEAF with Abortion Access Now PEI in this area. It also provides lessons to help guide our advocacy efforts moving forward.
