LEAF Edmonton invites you to our annual Persons Day Breakfast on October 22, 2018 at the Sutton Place Hotel.
Our keynote speaker this year is Elaine Craig, who is an Associate Professor of Law at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. Prof. Craig is a renowned feminist scholar focusing on sexual assault law, criminal law ethics, evidence law, and constitutional law. Her most recent publication is the book « Putting Trials on Trial: Sexual Assault and the Failure of the Legal Profession ». We look forward to hearing more on this topic in her talk.
Please join us for this annual celebration of Persons Day. LEAF Edmonton has held a breakfast every year since 1985, the year LEAF incorporated and section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms came into force.
