LEAF Branches
LEAF branches run public education programs for youth, hold events on gender equality in their communities, and engage in law reform initiatives at the local level. Branches are largely volunteer run and are always happy to welcome new volunteers!
Branch membership is a great way to ensure that women’s equality rights are protected under the law. Through their branch, members provide a voice in their community and nationally for women’s equality. Membership gives you a vote in your local branch, and your branch then appoints a representative to participate in LEAF’s Annual General Meeting.
Non-profit organizations are also welcome to join branches. Organizations join to show mutual support in our common struggle for equal rights for women and girls in Canada.
