September 27, 2021 – Tickets are now available for LEAF’s annual gala!
We are excited to announce that this year’s event will feature a panel of women formerly in politics discussing their experiences and challenges, including the expectation of being a public figure, the rise of online hatred and violence, and gender-based discrimination in politics.
Our esteemed speakers include the Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould, the Honourable Lisa Raitt, and Celina Caesar-Chavannes. Robyn Doolittle will moderate the discussion.
Ongoing uncertainties related to COVID-19 have led LEAF to make the difficult decision to host an online discussion in lieu of our annual gala. The funds raised through ticket sales will directly support our work to advance equality rights in Canada through litigation, law reform and education.
This event will include French language interpretation as well as closed captioning via zoom. Tiered ticket pricing is available for young professionals, students, seniors, and low-income/under-employed individuals.
