March 1, 2023 — LEAF is grateful to the Society of United Professionals (SUP) for renewing a 3-year partnership to advance gender equity for women, girls, trans and non-binary people in Canada. Since 2019, SUP has donated $30,000 annually to LEAF’s general operations.
With their support, LEAF will continue to advance gender equality through litigation, legal education and law reform. Since 1985, LEAF has intervened in over 130 cases strengthening equality rights, including ensuring pension equity for women workers and equal pay for equal work. The partnership will create new opportunities for Society members to engage with LEAF’s work.
