Become a LEAF Volunteer

The dedicated work of volunteers across the country is central to LEAF’s success. Volunteers govern the organization, serve on active committees, staff branches and act as LEAF counsel whenever LEAF intervenes at the Supreme Court of Canada and Appellate Court levels. They also support LEAF will annual donations and play a crucial role in raising the funds, and friends, we need to keep on ensuring that women’s substantive equality is protected and strengthened within Canada’s courts.  Some very specific volunteer commitments are particularly important and there are many ways for members and friends of LEAF to volunteer.  There are at least 5 Key Ways to Volunteer Your Time…

  1. Board and Committee Work
  2. Join A Branch
  3. Help Youth and Others Learn About Equality Rights
  4. Help Us Celebrate Women’s Equality Rights in Your Community
  5. Be a Pro bono Lawyer for LEAF
